What is Pine Needle Scale? Have you ever looked at a pine tree or shrub in summer or spring and thought to yourself, why does it have snow on it? Believe it or not, those white spots on the needles...
“Tree roots extend downward to a depth equal to the height of the canopy above.” The most abundant mass of tree root development is in the top 18 inches of soil. This surface layer of soil is where the feeder...
In the world of tree care and specifically plant health care, timing is everything. The number of insects and pathogens waiting to attack our landscape plants is staggering. Just one species of plant can be a host to dozens of...
Euonymus scale and burning bush scale are two common pests that can wreak havoc on your landscape. These tiny insects may seem harmless at first glance, but their infestations can lead to significant damage to your evergreen shrubs and vines....

Traditional methods for tree planting have been in practice for decades. Historically, tree planting has been done with ball and burlap-wrapped trees. A tree would be excavated from a nursery field with a section of the root zone intact with...
Homer Tree came out and took down ten- 100+ ft tall Red Oaks lost to Oak Wilt and then took all the stumps out. They were very professional and skilled. Despite our greenhouse under the trees they did zero damage to anything with all of their large trucks and high work dropping massive logs. The price was amazing and they beat 4 other companies and even solo jobbers by thousands. I recommend them highly.
We had considerable storm damage from the June 6th storm. We lost 4 trees plus damage to many others. Not only did Homer Companies give us a great price to remove all the damaged trees and grind the stumps, the work was performed quickly and thoroughly. The Homer "team" was very easy to work with and went beyond expectations to address all of our concerns.
Fantastic customer service. Unbelievably fast response. Very efficient, thoughtful, courteous, and meticulous service. I'm so very impressed with this company!
We have used Homer for many years. They took fantastic care of the recent storm damage very quickly. They are the best and most professional we have ever used!
I could not be more grateful for the kindness shown to my husband and me from Homer Industries. I had questions regarding mulch for our home and got quick answers which we so appreciate. Todd was just amazing at staying in contact and Jessica helped us finishing up and finalizing things. Having been in customer service myself for decades, it's so refreshing to see how caring they both were and we will be forever grateful and loyal.
Homer Tree has taken care of my trees multiple times and the job they do is beyond outstanding. They have turned my overgrown backyard into a liveable space, and have removed bushes and trees that were not necessary/dangerous to my dogs. They work fast and effectively and I absolutely recommend reaching out to them for any tree needs!
